Thanks LincolnJay! We're on opposite sides of the bracket, so I hope we see you on Sunday! The Valley will be a 4 bid league if that happens!

NOT enough...need to beat VCU also. I'm thinking 2 MVC finals also. We NEED a better resume.

Gotta agree with DRU here. We need to win out in the regular season (including VCU), then make it to the finals of the conference tournament for any serious consideration.

I see things playing out a lot like last year. SIU and CU are pretty solid for bids. MSU will likely get a bid if they win out and win a game in STL. IF the Valley is to get a 4th bid, it will be if either BU or WSU can topple SIU in the semis.

Of course, even with only 2 conf. games left in the reg season, lots can happen.

Should be a fun ride in St Louis. Wish I could be there.
 
That's nice, BDawg, but I am curious as to why?
Of all the mesage boards in the Valley, the one that repeatedly seems to have the most vile comments about BU and Jim Les is the Saluki board, and I have somewhat already drawn the conclusion that Saluki fans hate BU, hate JL, and constantly think BU cheats.
All the other Valley message boards combined don't seem to have as much anti-BU stuff (except maybe the Redbirds- but they just aren't in a position to knock anyone right now) as the SIU board.
 
Two things I hope dont come back to haunt us.

Losing at Tennesee Tech

Deciding to play SIUE. One win overall could haver really made our overall record look a little better.

But we can forget about both of these if we can win out and get to the valley championship.
 
its gonna be a lot harder than i thought to get in- look at the resume.... 1-7 vs rpi top 50?
not very good and besides depaul and siu we dont have any big wins

You got it right! We need to win out and get to the MVC Championship game to have a chance. Anything short of that and we are NIT bound. Which is great considering my low expectations for the season before it started. :D

Its simple: I dislike the shuckers way more than BU. :-P Oh and that whole humble pie thing for them.
 
We pretty much need VCU. It's mandatory.

Win our next 5 games, unless SIU loses in the MVC quarters. Then, we lose the chance at a quality win, and we'll have to get the autobid.
