Basketball Great Dennis Johnson Collapses & Dies

DJ was a scout for the Celtics for a few years and I had a chance to meet him and talk to him a few years ago when he was at Carver Arena. It might have been when Anthony Parker was playing, but I am not sure how long ago it was. He seemed like a nice guy, but he had the reputation for being hard to get along with.

One of the all time favorite Boston Celtic players and the present coach of the Austin (TX) Toros of the NBDL collapsed during a practice and died.
Cause of death yet to be determined.
He was 52, and played on the same Boston Celtic championship team in 1986 with David Thirdkill.
DJ also won a championship ring in 1983.

Where is David Thirdkill now and what is he doing?

Here is an answer...but I think there's more to it...

I found this from an article by a Sun Times reporter:
"David Thirdkill, the ex-NBAer who was one of Versace's ace program reinflaters, was listed as missing in action somewhere near St. Louis. Pressed by a visiting reporter, one BU insider said: "I don't think this is a good subject to ask questions about today. I don't think David wants to be found right now and I'm not sure we could get him here even if we could find him. So ix-nay the uestions-quay for at least today, OK?"
