Here are Bradley's end of season RPI's--

2007 - 21-12 RPI 36
2006 - 22-11 RPI 33 (ranked #24 at end of season)
2005 - 142
2004 - 152
2003 - 192 (Jim Les' first season)
2002 - 235
2001 - 96
2000 - 110
1999 - 64

Jim has taken a team with an RPI of 235, and improved every year until this year, and Bradley dropped all the way back to 36 from 33 last year. This was predicted to be a down year with the loss of 70% of the scoring and rebounding and the loss of Patrick O'Bryant to the NBA. IMO Coach Les has done a remarkable job with this team.

I am looking forward to a few more games this season, and a return to glory next year. I see at least a top 3 finish in the MVC and postseason appearances for years to come.

I'm right there with ya DC :D .........and with the early success of the Valley tourney maybe a few recruits might want to jump in and grab some rides...........I think they are going to start taking off!

PS...........I also look for season ticket #'s to reach an all time high next season!

Well, we lose Franklin, Adams, Andrews, and Tauai off this team. Can our recruits pick up the slack? Ruffin and Crouch are quality, and Salley I suspect will improve too, like Warren. Next pre-season will be as puzzling as this one was. If we are as competitive in the Valley as we were this season, then I can truly tell my Illini naysaying friends that Bradley is reloading and not just rebuilding :-P !

Rebuilding ARE YOU SERIOUS? We lose four key pieces from this years team, Franklin, Andrews, Tauai, and Adams. Meanwhile we add Jeremy Fears, a player who was tearing through the MAC as a freshmen. We get Deaaron Williams, a second team all-stater, athletic wing, reruited by major BIG 10 schools. In addition, we have an athletic 6'10" prospect in Anthony Thompson, one of the finest guards in the state in Maniscalo, as well as Egolf and Byucks, two players I dont know much about. Factor in the return of Ray Brown. ANd its like getting a 7 player class. Nexy years team will be incredibly deep, and athletic. The one worry I have is size, but that can be helped substantially if Thompson is ready to contribute, even if its only on D. (Also, if Sam Singh can progess that would be a bonus.) Anyway, with all the new faces who is to say howwell the team will gel, and where they fall in the Valley pecking order. However, there can be no doubt that the talent is there. I cannot wait.

Considering we were picked 8th in conference and gave the 11th team in the national a huge run for their money (that Creighton won't!), JL did unreal this year. IMO I thought he did an unbelievable job this year

He certainly did. Be it the NCAA or NIT, he still should be proud of what his team accomplished!

this team has no reason at all to hang their heads, we currently have the 17th hardest schedule in the nation and for a team that was supposed to be in the cellar after losing 2/3 of their scoring and rebounding, i feel proud to say that i cheered for the Bradley Braves and wish i had another year of school to do it again. Congrats to JL and the entire team and coaching staff for the great job i look forward to keeping track of the team once i become an alumni in may
