I will say this...........the league sure looks good with the 22000+ fans and a pretty entertaining game to watch....with most the country watching the Valley will just keep getting more respect...and better recruits! 8)

I would like to see SIU win just so the Valley could field a team with a potential number 2 seed. That would be great for a potential Elite Eight run (or dare I say Final Four run) for SIU.

It doesn't look good now though as SIU is down 61-53 at the under 4 minute time out. Still a 4 seed looks good, and that cans still lead to a long run by SIU. I'd say Creighton might work there way up to a 6 or 7 seed with a conference championship on their resume.

Creighton knocks off SIU.

This will probably drop SIU to a 5 seed. I think a 4 is too optimistic, considering the history the NCAA has with MVC teams. They usually get seeds a couple slots lower than realistic.

I still think they can get a 4, but regardless, they still have a great chance at a Sweet Sixteen run. And now so does Creighton, as I think a 6 or 7 seed at the worse will be what they earn.

Now if only Bradley can get that 13 seed....!

A deadly draw is gonna be Winthrop and you can just about lock it in as a 1st round matchup. The committee (and Littlepage) want to try to minimize opportunities for strong non-bcs teams to get the sweet 16 and beyond.... so what better than to just match them up.
