Winona State finishes undefeated

Well, at least that what the headline reads.
But there was one team who beat them this year, and only one.

They have now won 49 consecutive games, three shy of the all time D-II record of 52

This team WOULD NOT have finished last in the MVC, I think they're likely as good as at least half the D-I teams and may have battled for a middle spot in ther MVC.

Also if Winona State can beat St. Cloud in the North Central Region quarterfinals tonight on their own home court they will establish the all time D-II record for consecutive wins at 53.

with John Smith getting 22 pts., 15 rebounds.
