Coach Stowell Tonight

I have been listening to Bradley games for over twenty years and I have never heard Coach Stowell as animated as he was tonight. For those fortunate enough to be at the game, it would be worth your time to go back and listen to the archive. Especially of the overtime period. Stowell threw all caution to the wind and returned to coaching down the stretch tonight. Didn't make for a textbook broadcast, but sure was entertaining. He seemed to be treating it as the most important Bradley game in years...

Yeah, he was REALLY excited towards the end there. It was awesome though. Made it just like I was there. Great Great game.

Ditto from me! This was a classic game for Stowell! Who cares if he's not following "Broadcasting 101", this was great radio!

God-willing, he'll be around for many years to come! :D

Glad Coach did a good job for those that couldn't be there, as for me, I am struggling to talk right now... But MAN WAS THAT A GAME!!!! WHY COULDN'T THAT HAVE BEEN ON ESPN?!?!?!?!?

JJ IS THE MAN..17 PTS/17 RBS :-o 8)

Oh yeah, he had the look from the opening tip, he played with his hear the whole game. I was also impressed by both ruff and will. Ruff kept getting so frustrated when the team was dropping his passes but kept making them and didn't try to throw the team on his back. And Will, Will did what he always does, hits the big shots...

I was extremely upset with Will and Ruffin during the first half, they weren't hitting ANYTHING! However, after the half they both started coming on big, especiall Will, then of course Will's 6 straight in OT. That was awesome blocking by Salley.

Yeah....WOW...WOW...WOW!!! That was great game....and great atmostphere!

Look at the final score and I think you'll get a good idea why ESPN wouldn't want to do that to one of the east coast teams in one of those elite conferences.

I think that was Zach, but could be wrong...
I'm sure he's referring to Salley's screens in the lane that allowed Will to get those great looks!

Yeah I knew that, but I am deffinately wrong, think it back it was Salley for sure, I'm gonna blame that one on the intense atmosphere, it was so surreal I am forgetting some of it!!!

Or something like that... Or, Ummm, I just screwed up.

No problem....completely understandable!

Unfortunately for Zach....he wasn't too hard to keep track of from the 12-minute TO and on.

Speaking of ESPN, only 1 NIT game mentioned on an hour long sportscenter after the Dallas double OT game. That was Syracuses big comeback for the win. No other NIT games were mentioned. Instead they had to analyze the fraudalent big dance and talk about the NFL draft. I mean WTF, this is march madness babbbyyy. Show some NIT close game action.
