Announcer said Duke hasn't lost in the 1st round in the NCAA in a couple centuries.... it was 1996. So I guess 11 years is a couple centuries. :lol:
 
Well, he probably meant the first 6 years of the 21st century, and the last 5 years of the 20th century. In his world, that makes a couple 'o centuries. :lol:
 
VCU looking good! They just took the lead 79-77 with 1.8 seconds left. Now if they don't add 10 seconds back on the clock, just because they're Duke, VCU will pull off the upset!

They completely screwed my bracket but i love the fact that a quality team that Bradley beat just beat the packer's and Digger's and Bilas' beloved Duke

BI Brave Alum... i should have given the love they deserved, i feel like an moron and my gut told me go VCU but you know what i bet we could have given Louisville a better game than stanford
but Duke is gone and i'm incredibly pleased with that :twisted:

Yeah, I picked Duke too. I had debated picking VCU, but I went with Duke due to Coach K's great first round record. Oh well, but great job by VCU! :D

Of course I had Oral Roberts winning, but that didn't pan out either. Anyway, go Winthrop! I have them in my Sweet 16 along with SIU of course. And Creighton I have advancing one round.
 
Actually, I picked VCU to win. I'm doing pretty good too. Only lost Texas Tech and Davidson, who I had going to the sweet 16.
