haha ok, lets see i knew about tyrones commit about 2 days before you guys had a clue, but you just keep thinking what you think, ruffs gonna be leading us next year. by the way you guys also dont know who's leaving for sure, do yah? bet i do.

bravesmanager,
I'm sure you have knowledge of some stuff before it becomes public, as you should, but your claim that you knew of the commitment of Tyrone Cole-Scott 2 days before others here did can't be quite true. We were pretty quick on that one.

Cole-Scott was a visitor at the Bradley-Providence NIT game on Wednesday, March 14th. The next day we had the topic up on the board "2007 BU commitment - Tyrone Cole-Scott"
http://www.bradleyfans.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=6717

That means that the earliest Cole-Scott could have committed would have been about 24 hours before it was posted on the Jucojunction site, and on this board.

However, many people who are regulars on this board, including bu fan 9, knew about the Cole-Scott commitment much earlier on Thursday morning because of some inside connections and some PM's that were sent around on Bradleyfans.com.

Although, I think you're right and I do agree with you that DR will be back.

Recruiting info and who's committing, who's leaving, etc.
is the kind of closely guarded secret that darned well better not show up on message boards,
or else the head coach has a leak in his organization. But given everything else is speculation,
then I think the info about BU on this site is 2nd to none, and is ahead of any other source or media outlet.

I would never ever say anything about recruits, i just got tired of hearing that people are saying ruffs leaving when hes not.Thats it.

bravesmanager...I really don't think I have seen anyone say
"Ruff's leaving next year".

What people have been discussing is that Ruffin might have his degree and consider leaving, not that he is leaving.

Either way, the strong word now is that he will not be leaving, and I am looking forward to seeing him next year.

I have to agree.....I haven't heard ANYONE try and pass off info like they had first hand definitive answers.

I keep thinking of DA last year...all but flat out told me he was gone.

So even if DR himself stated he was coming back its a loooooong offseason. yajusneverknow.....

I've been mulling this too (again, lack of "real" basketball news, aside from the NIT T-shirts). Of the candidates discussed at one time or another to leave, one's been in extremely good, social spirits while speaking candidly about his hopes for next year and the other is getting dragged along to appearances. My bet's on one on one of the recruits no-showing on campus.

Aside from bm11's assurances, I really can't imagine Ruff leaving because he didn't do Senior Night, not even "in case", a la DA last year. Even from what little "actual" contact I've had with him, his ties to the community and the program seem far too strong for him to leave without a proper good-bye.

Maybe the spin-spin rumours of Ruff and CB both leaving held water.....

....and now both staying are holding water.

Maybe they like working together.

Here's to Bradley winning the MVC next year and it starts right here with CB and DR.

GO BRADLEY!!!
