This happens with married couples from time to time, but they don't declare their marriage 'over', just a rocky time that they overcame. I see this as Dana having a moment of doubt, and coming to the RIGHT decision.
Great day for the MVC - the top 5 coaches remain intact, keeping the league strong as ever. Next year may be a slightly 'down' year, but with our top coaches returning, it won't last long. Power conferences retain their top coaches...we are a power conference! The proof is in the pudding!
Couldnt agree more. People are blasting him. Get over it folks. Ever change your mind? Its easy for some to criticse others but when THEY do it it can be explained away.
Dana is no sleaze bag low life coach. I HATE him as a rival  but he is a class guy. Good for him and for the Valley.
What happens had he stayed at Arkansas but was never really happy. Ark. fans should be relieved he made his decision now instead of half way through the year or something.
Sometimes it takes more courage to admit you made a bad decision than it does to pretend you made the right one. I watched online the news conference at Arkansas and it was clear DA was uncomfortable. Passion for the job wasn't in evidence--in the end this decision is a good one for DA, Creighton, and for Arkansas.
