Boston Celtics Jettison Telfair

He isnt a good basketball player, get arrested and cant stay away from guns... not good combinations.

But I believe he still has a year left on his rookie contract so he will be paid, the Union will file a greviance and someone in that league will take a chance on him next year. He will be fine, and the Celtics will be better off without him.

Wasn't Bill Russell only about 6'9"? Oden is a bit bigger than that. Though he looks about as old as Russell right now.

Exactly, Oden looks like Russell did at age 40. :-o Maybe that's why I drew the comparison :lol:

I do think he has Russell-like skills, though. Hopefully, he'll develop a better offensive game than Russell did
