Mark Turgeon just hired another assistant, and it is newsworthy only because it is a coach that Jim Molinari fired only a week after Jim took over as Minnesota interim coach.

Bill Walker was the top assistant at Minnesota under Dan Monson, but was fired as soon as Molinari took over. The above link hints at a little controversy.

Walker has been hired at Texas A&M by Mark Turgeon.
