I know it's not basketball, but this is big news for Bradley--
the baseball team won it's 9th game in a row and beat Evansville last night to move past them into 3rd place in the MVC. Bradley beat perhaps the best pitcher on Evansville. The play 2 more games at home this weekend against UE, and then their final 3 games are next Thurs, Fri, and Sat at UNI.

The two teams play the second of their three-game series Saturday 7 PM at O???‚¬?„?Brien Field. The game will be preceded by a special ceremony honoring head coach Dewey Kalmer, who became the 36th coach in NCAA Division I history to win 1,000 career games last Saturday at Indiana State.

Bradley won again Saturday night, 6-2 over Evansville, to stretch their winning streak to 10 games. They have also won 14 of their last 15 and they clinched a spot in the 6-team MVC conference tournament.--

Bradley is now 29-16, 12-8 and in 3rd place in the MVC.

Their final home game is Sunday at 1 pm. There will be a pregame tribute for the team???‚¬?„?s seven seniors before the game at O???‚¬?„?Brien Field.
