Huge news for BU recruiting

Today I spoke to Iman Shumpert at the Windy city classic. I asked him about Bradley, and if he is just still listing them to be loyal to his longtime suitor, or if he is actually considering them. He looked at me as if i was crazy and said "Of course i am still considering Bradley, why wouldnt i? They have been with me since the beginning and Bradley would be a great place for me to play..."

Iman Shumpert sounds like a very smart kid!

If BU gets Shumpert, it would be huge. I am hearing that Nick Fruendt has made his decision and is going to Northwestern. Have you heard anything on that, Daniel?


ps--if Shumpert's high school coach suddenly became the new BU assistant, would anyone think it just happened that way and had nothing to do with recruiting Shumpert? :wink:

My dream class

I realize even getting a couple of these would be good, but my dream class would be-

Iman Shumpert
(Either LA Pomlee or Jeremy Robinson)
(Either Nick Freundt or Matt Roth)
Daniel West

A 4 player class but we still may only have 3 to offer I am not sure.

Edit: Scratch Freundt, He committed to NW
 
Maybe it's just me.....but if MR really wanted to play for the Braves wouldn't he have already made a verbal :? ......so I guess I'll be surprised if he ends up on the Hilltop! :wink:

I agree, I feel like he's using us as a fallback, and I don't like that. I want people who WANT to play here. Like I said, I hope we keep our 3 verbals and add Shumpert.

I agree with you completely. The three verbals and Shumpert would be a nice recruiting class. Although I have a strange feeling that we will not see Buycks at BU. Roth is a player who would fit nicely in our schemes, but I believe JL can find a player who has better overall talent for that scholarship.
