2007-2008 Bradley Men's Basketball Schedule
October 20 Saturday Red-White Scrimmage at Robertson FH 6:30PM
November 1 Thursday St. Ambrose (Exh.) at Robertson FH 7:05PM
November 4 Sunday Quincy Univ. (Exh.) at Carver Arena 2:05PM
Bradley has played Quincy before. They are one of three NCAA Div II schools in Illinois (along with Lewis and SIU-E).
Does anyone know anything about St. Ambrose? I assume this is the St. Ambrose in Davenport, Iowa. They are NAIA Division II, and play in the Midwest Classic Conference which includes:
Grand View College (Iowa)
Iowa Wesleyan College
Marycrest International University (Iowa)
Mount Mercy College (Iowa)
Mount Saint Clare College (Iowa)
Saint Ambrose University (Iowa)
Viterbo College (Wis.)
William Penn (Iowa)
The fighting Bees of St. Ambrose
Their roster last season did not include any kids with local ties--

However, one of their assistant coaches, Kevin Walden, is a 1997 graduate of Peoria Notre Dame High School in Peoria--

Here is their stat page- They were 19-12 last season, and 11-3 in their conference. One thing that stands out- their total cumulative home attendance for the entire season- 13 home games- was 500- FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON!
That averages about 38 fans per game! Obviously basketball is not big on the St. Ambrose campus.--

Incidentally, the last time I can recall Bradley playing an NAIA team was Lubbock Christian (they are Div I NAIA), a game in the Las Vegas Tournament in November, 2003. That game was not scheduled by Bradley, and I don't recall when Bradley actually scheduled an NAIA team during the regular season.
Exhibition games are not listed in the official Bradley record book or the past media guides, so I also can't find if Bradley has ever played NAIA teams as exhibitions. I suspect they have, but I don't know if they have ever played a Div II NAIA school.
