Roy Bright

Roy Bright was recruited by Jim Les and reported told Les that he was coming to Bradley in April, 2006. Instead, he committed to Delaware State. He had a pretty good year (15.5, 4.9), and Delaware State won their conference (21-13), but missed the NCAA when they were upset in their tournament by Florida A&M.

Bright entered his name for the 2007 NBA draft, but last week he pulled out and is returning to Delaware State for his senior season. I expect Bright to have a pretty good senior season, but Delaware State lost several other starters, so they might not be as good.

You mean sophomore year, right?

No, Bright went to Delaware State from Garden City (Kansas) junior college. He spent his freshman year at Cincinnati. So he was a junior last year, and will be a senior this fall. He will be one of the top scorers in the country for DSU, since they will not have much else.
