Matt Roth update- gets offer from Indiana U.

I am to the point with Roth that I dont care, what he does or doesnt do. I have never seen him play but I really have a hard time believing that a 6'3 160+ player will be a difference maker at the collegiate level.

I am certain he is a great shooter, but again there can not be anyway he is a difference maker. I hope he comes to BU and completely proves me wrong.

If he goes to SLU or Indiana or where ever I wish him luck but if he is isnt at BU really dont care how well he does or doesnt play.

I have heard a rumor that Purdue coach Matt Painter has also become interested in Roth and may be about to offer a scholarship.

Honestly I think it is good Roth is going to decide in August, because if he doesn't choose us we can move on, and push hard for Kyle, Stacy, etc.

Hi all,
This roving reporter was in Las Vegas at a convention all
last week. I saw a bundle of 6'5" guys including a couple
that were actively discussing the possibility of touching
an 11 foot ceiling at the Sahara. LOL I saw no Matt Roth
though.

I think it refers to the several AAU events that were going on in Las Vegas last week while Wingrider81 was there gambling away his paycheck. :wink:
He must have seen a couple of the basketballers who snuck into the casino.
Matt Roth must not be a gambler.

Don't you have to be 21 to gamble in a casino in Vegas. I know you can be younger in other states, like Minnesota.

Yes, the Las Vegas casinos are usually very strict about this. That's why I referred to the high school kids wingrider saw having "snuck" into the casino. I was just kidding about Matt Roth. I am sure he wasn't in wingrider's casino.

I was in Vegas at the Riviera for a week. I was at a
gamble.. err a convention. I believe that to gamble on
the floor in LV you need to be 18 or in the company of
an adult. I saw those kids at the Saharra which has a
$9.99 buffet. They just avoided loitering in the pit floor
and they were okay. I REALLY would like to see a home
and home at UNLV. It really is fun. There were hordes of
people with teeners and tweeners visiting the place.
What a great break that would be around Christmas.

was not frittering away my paycheck. NO, it might
have been 2 checks. Are there interest-free loans at

A friend of mine at IU says Roth is not going to be there today.
Anyone know what the truth is?
 
Here is a rumor that starts to get a bit unbelievable...

From the Billiken board, supposedly from a good source that had talked to Matt Roth's parents,
and claims that Roth has received an offer from DUKE.

There is a report on the premium side of Indiana.Rivals saying this......

"JUST saw Sampson, Matt Roth, and family... walking past Dagwoods on Indiana Ave. about 15 minutes ago. So....Matt Roth is indeed reported to be in Bloomington right now."
