Heard the rumour a while ago she might be back on the Hilltop. She's a lighning fast guard who can make things happen.

Anyone hear anything else new and noteworthy regarding the women's team?

I have always enjoyed watching Devyn and look forward to a big year out of her.

Anxious to see how much of an impact the transfer Monica will have.

I will continue to beat this horse but they have the same coach so they will more then likely have the same results... Well below .500 overall and in the conference.

I'm glad she rejoined the team, she was really fun to watch. Skye is really fast with the ball.

Does anyone know why she didn't play last year? Did she quit the team and stay at BU or did she somehow transfer out and back?

Hopefully, the women's basketball team can make strides forward with the new athletic facilities. They've only had 5 winning seasons in the last 20 years or so, but Paula has put up 2 of them.

Two games over .500 in 05 and 4 games over .500 in 02, mostly with Frietag's recruits, but she was in conference 7-11 in 02 and 8-10 in 05. She has achieved .500 one time in 8 years in the conference, every other year below .500. She an overall record at Bradley of 84-114 and 48-78 in the MVC in her 8 years as head coach.

If saying it is a good accomplishment in her 8 years to have had 2 years of over .500 then thats purely being happy with losing and being nothing but mediocre.

ISU, SIU have improved dramatically in the 8 years Buscher has been BU's head coach. She, though, has continued her trend of losing and losing records year in year out. I believe that she has no business as a Division I head coach simply because she has proven one thing, the inability to win basketball games at the Division I level.

Paula prove me wrong, you have been the captian of this ship long enough it is past time to start winning and competing for valley championships.

Thanks Houston for your input... but I started this thread looking for anything "new and noteworthy". I mentioned Skye being back. Devyn is a great player to watch IMO. And I am curious how Monica might help this team. I also don't know anything about the Freshmen.

Now maybe there is nothing new or noteworthy...

But pounding this team, coach and players into the ground with the same old negativity isn't gonna do much to help their confidence or morale... and it sure as heck isn't New or Noteworthy.

No problem.

I will have to continue to pound on the state of this program and the head coach until she wins games consistantly. 8 years of futility isnt new certainly it is though frustrating

She stayed at BU. She didn't play because of bad knees.

Thanks for the info, Mike.

I'm not trying to diss or praise Paula, just saying I hope the new facilities on the way can help spark some success.
