Eddrin McCain is currently one the phone talking to Jim Hicks on the show.
They are talking about his commitment to Bradley.
 
Eddrin said he has played on the last 2 state champion teams at Reserve Christian high school, and they are preparing for what he hopes is another one.

The young man is very well spoken.
 
Eddren (sorry I misspelled it above) said Coach Alvin Brooks was the key guy in recruiting him to Bradley. He also said he will help recruit some bogs from that area to Bradley.

The host just asked Eddren a question, probably from Bradley Brave :)--
Why did he change high school-- he changed because his high school in Houston no longer had a basketball program.
His grades are very good--- he has a 3.5 gpa, but he needs a couple more points on his SAT, which he will take this fall.

Eddren mentioned he had played with Anthony Thompson, which we noted in another thread, with the Houston Select AAU team. He also mentioned he was the leading rebounder for his high school team last year with 9 rpg.

Eddren believes he can play for BU right now!
 
Listening to the show. Fun show to listen to. They go off on some funny tangents, including discussing what Richard Pryor movies Eddren had watched prior to visiting Peoria.

lol. It's good to hear Eddren is sportn' a good clean-cut hair style. :)
 
I really like the show. Anyone know if there is a similar show for the mid-west area?

I might just watch this show on a regular basis. Might as well if more and more Houston players become Bradley Braves :)
 
Eddren sounds like a very humble young man. Sounds like he has his grades in order, and his head on straight. Thank you Mr. Hicks for asking questions relevant to us Bradley fans. I look forward to Eddren signing his LOI in November and hearing what Jim has to say about our future point guard!
 
The hosts just announced that next Monday they will have a kid on the show who will announce his college commitment. The kid is Toure Murry, who just happens to be a kid Bradley is recruiting from Houston Klein Forest High School (the same school Anthony Thompson attended).
