Missouri Valley preview

Da Coach

Fantasy sports site has an early preview of MVC basketball. Interestingly, they focus only on individual players, and criticize the MVC because they say that "most of the coaches prefer to have their teams play at a deliberate pace, limiting offensive opportunities and stifling fantasy potential."
As usual, I simply don't think he has done his homework.

This guy makes a fool of himself.

Thanks for the link. The writeup was for people putting together a fantasy roster. I think the author has done his homework. There's defense played in the Valley. While SIU might be most coaches dream with tough defense, they are the enemy of fantasy leagues.

Do you see a player in the Valley putting up huge numbers consistanly this year? I don't. The better teams are going to have their numbers spread among multiple players. To put it in Bradley terms, the best fantasy players are guys like Curtis Stuckey even though he played on bad teams.

The guy claims by the end of the year, Levi Dyer had gained the trust of his coach Tim Jankovich, and that made him the go-to-guy. Jankovich wasn't even on the ISU bench last year.

Once again somebody writes an article that does not know most of the facts about the Valley ; the Jankovic comment shows the lack of research and obviously he did not see the style that a lot of the teams play in the conference as it is not the slowdown style he is referring to.
