DD actually brought 'it' up, by saying JL 'gets it'. I don't think this subject would have been brought up if the other coach 'got it'. But that's splitting hairs. I asked the question because I honestly wanted to get other people's take on this. I think Coach Mo was a good coach, but I think part of his downfall at BU was perhaps not embracing the strong tradition that is Bradley basketball. Don't get me wrong - I understand why he may not have wanted to, and why some coaches may not want to. But perhaps embracing more of the past BU successes (and the great many people involved) may have bought him more time to right the ship on the Hilltop. But, what's done is done, and I am happy where this program seems to be heading at this point. My intent was not to unprovokingly bash Coach Mo.
Not to disagree with your point BB, but why would any coach willingly ignore the rich history of our program, or any program for that matter? I'm just wondering ...
