I wish the "White Out" vs. Michigan St. and the "Red Out" vs. Creighton were switched. Hate to see Michigan St. being anymore comfortable than they need to be in our house!

I was, however, very happy to see the "Stripe the Arena" promotion!

Also, Womens promotion on Nov 17th. show your women's tickets and get free men's tickets for the 18th..

Also extremly disapointed about Michigan State white-out. As stated, the Spartans always have white-outs at home..

Exactly, when I saw the white out scheduled for the MSU game I was like, what the heck??? We should be having a red-out, MSU always has white-outs at home. I don't know, oh well.

Whoever thought of the Strip-out should be congratulated. That's a great idea!

Indeed! That's actually been on my wish-list for some time now. Since we had the thread on the old board inspiring us to think of new ways to do things this year.....also in that thread was the idea for a side-to-side wave and/or a top-to-bottom wave rather than the standard around-the-arena wave.

lol. good thing you told DaCoach ahead of time, Tornado. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened when he showed up to the game. :)

Is there a way to contact the BU department that decided on the white-out for Michigan State? There may still be time to get it switched to a red out.

Good idea....now the Dept. MIGHT say or think its too late but lets stress to them it would be a PERFECT way to get more PUB. Not that any is needed for this game but BU should just admit the "mistake" and make an all out push for a Red out.

Lets all send an email asking for Red vs White.......

Does anyone know exactly how this works? Do you get the tickets at the same time or can you only claim your men's tickets on the day of the game?

Guys, not to be a debbie downer, but it's not gonna change, end of story. The white-out was Coach Les' idea and the MSU game is less then a month away. I agree that the MSU game should be a red-out but it's a little late after so much time/energy/planning has gone into this for it to change.

The white-out looks good and the color of the shirts really has no difference on the game. I think we'd all be better off, especially the students here, figuring out the best way to make Carver as hostile as possible on that night, and not on what color shirt people will be wearing.

Agreed 100%... now what are those hostile ideas youre talking about? Even the thought of it is getting me jacked up for the 4th! And as far as the white out goes, maybe they will walk out and think "oh wow, no problem looks like home" except this time the home crowd is going to be in their face, relentlessly, all night.

Where's Frisbee Dog?!?

Unquestionably the greatest halftime Bradley promotion is not on the schedule? For Shame!!! I know Frisbee Dog must be up there in years since I've been seeing him at Carver since '95 but come on!!!!

I think that the students get the opposite color as the fans. So during the white out the student section will be red. (Which means MSU will be shooting into red) If everyone got red background signs (like last year's "3") it should seem hostile enough while still looking good on TV...

Not all the games were like that though if I remember correct. I believe that Providence was a straight white-out for the whole arena, and as far as I know that's what's planned for the MSU game as well.

now with those red signs... THEY DO NOT WORK IF EVERYBODY IS JUST WAVING THEM AROUND IN ANY DIRECTION... we have to have somebody (i can do it and probably will) stand in front and give the cue to have the students move the signs in ONE DIRECTION all at once!!! then it will work wonders for us! that way it makes it very hard for their freethrow shooter since everything behind the hoop moves in one direction!

... just have to get the rest of the students in on it!
would it be easiest to print out what's going to happen on a bunch of little pieces of paper you think?
