Les calls out fans....

As Chucky T pointed out in the Les Live thread JL has called out fans to be loud and NOT to wait for the team to do something to get us going.

I thought this deserved its own thread. Not too worried about Bradleyfan posters....we will do our part and then some.

What I "worry" about is us falling behind and then its settle into your seats and settle for an occasional golf type applause.

Lets hope BU does enough to keep even the most "I'm just here to be seen types" into the game. I also hope BU breaks out some new (last years) intro for the game.
 
Les reiterates...."lets get the arena rockin" "Not for 10 minutes, not for 20 minutes, but for a full 40 minutes!!!"

Oh yeah....and wear white!!
 
One thing for sure those white heads will match the decor this game. Let's hope they take a nap, drink their geritol and hopefully have a red bull. Here's to all the yelling throughout!

:DSomeone should bring a sign that says the soccer team did it why not us, just in case we do get behind.
 
Will the shirts be handed out or will they be on the seats? What would be cool is white shirts on every seat AND white rally towels to wave. I have a feeling they will have stations set up and hand them out. Trouble is with that is a few people won't bother to grab one.

Hope they are on the seats......
 
I am happy that Coach Les is calling for the fans to help for 40 minutes. I couldn't help but think when I heard this on the radio that the administration could help by bringing back the introductions from last year, cutting out the commercials during the game, cutting out the timeout money making commercials like the stupid Par A Dice thing, crank up the band and get the cheerleaders to get the crowd going during every break in play. It won't happen, because we have to pay for the scoreboard!!!!! Wouldn't selling the place out more often because of the atmosphere raise enough money to pay for the scoreboard, or how about a good donor helping on this. The way the timeouts are done now it is like trying to heat your house in the winter with all the doors and windows open. I think what it could be, and it makes me sad!

No...there was no video intro at the SEMO game...
The players just ran in through the student/band section with the lights on...and then they did the intros...
Hopefully there is something new in store for the MSU game that they didn't want to 'waste' on the SEMO game.

We wear white...Jimmy breaks out the UNDEFEATED red blazer...this is our Super Bowl, our World Series, our Mt. Olympus...we get top 10 teams in our building once a generation. The time is now my friends...
 
I hope during every timeout the students start chanting BU....BU....BU and drown out the stupid commercials. Maybe they can get the crowd going and make it difficult for the Spartans to hear Coach Izzo during the timeouts. I also hope the fans do not sit down the entire game. It would be great if there were some recruits at the game and saw an awesome atmosphere!
 
Amen Braves12. Stop the commercials, stop the stupid promotions, keep playing the fight song Vroman, and drownd out the PA announcer when he starts with his mostly worthless chatter. As for the poster who called the crowd white heads, be lucky we are there or else you'd be watching Bradley play Oshkosh St in the Armory.
 
The shirts are suppose to be waiting at the seats but I hope they have extras in case some little rascal decides to steal an extra one for his little sibling or friend thats not at the game. The white rally towel is a great idea and would probably be cheaper than the shirts. Either way, we have to get those board faces on ESPN, it's a very innovative idea.

I agree, keep standing, and let's keep Carver loud! Help out the cheerleaders, band, and the student section. The louder the arena is, the better we play, and the worse our opponents do. So let's make it like the sweet 16 a few years back and everybody stand the whole game!
