Similar to Danny Granger ran from BU only to turn into the #17 overall pick in the NBA draft? Perhaps leaving a school is meant to maximize potential, who are you to judge?
And obviously someone hasn't seen Matt Roth play, stepping a foot back from the 3point line only makes him more accurate. I will not blame Matt's poor shooting on the Defense, he is getting PLENTY of open looks but had an off shooting night at U-High shooting 1-9 from college range, and had another off shooting night at Canton where he only made 4. I'm pretty sure he's passed Jeremy Crouch's 3point numbers at this point in his career all while shooting 49% for his career from 3point land... weather that be high school, college, or NBA 3point land he can hit them all.
Oh, and when did a 39% from 3point land turn into some atrocious number?
Stepping back a foot does not make anyone more accurate. That is why they are moving it back beause it is too easy. The effect of moving it back will not be in the 1st two quarters it will be towards the end of the game when your legs are not as strong. Unless MR is the next coming of Larry Bird that just is not going to apply to him. Remeber LB left IU so that would not be bad thing
