Atlanta loses, so the Cards can pull into a tie for the wild card spot with a win. They are currently tied at Houston 4-4 in the bottom of the 9th.
BTW, Tampa Bay won and the Red Sox lost again. They are now tied for the AL wild card with 2 games left.

We still have a "remote chance" to make the playoffs. That's a better chance than any team in Chicago and eighteen other teams!

Now now... I have friends who are smart and good people and happen to be Cardinals fans. That being said ;-)
A lot of Cardinals fans remind me of this guy...
They always want to remind people that the Cardinals have won a World Series or two...

EVEN WITH THEIR BEST PITCHER OUT THE WHOLE SEASON AND THEIR SECOND BEST OFFENSIVE PLAYER NOT PLAYING DOWN THE STRETCH, THE CARDINALS MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.
