New Bradley Women’s Basketball Coach

The Geno era had one feature that I did like and yet hasn't been repeated...

leading up to the season, they did "community events" -- (addl links -- LINK - - LINK) - where they hosted a picnic like atmosphere in a park
in a couple different areas around Peoria, with players and coaches meeting and greeting fans.
They also did something similar one summer on the quad at Bradley when the TBT guys were all in town.
Back in the JL era they had open practices and soccer tailgates every year (fans first met Chris Roberts at one of the tailgate events).

Wonder why nobody seems interested in those kinds of events that the fan loved, brought their kids and generated
a lot of early season interest just when people are deciding to buy season tickets.

Yes they did and I remember an event down on the riverfront that was really neat.
