2007 BU commitment- Sam Maniscalco

Sam Maniscalco is a 6'0" junior point guard at Chicago St. Patrick's high school.

Bradley has been looking at him for a while, and I have just found out he has been officially offered a scholarship by Bradley coach Jim Les. This is the first junior to receive an offer.

Perhaps, but perhaps not so.
I have heard from a source who is a relative of Carlton Fay of Putnam Co. (which just got done winning its conference tourney)
that Fay has received an offer to play at BU, and is leaning heavily towards accepting.
Of course this is unofficial, but I have also heard the exact same "rumor" through a separate and independent source.

I havent heard much of this Fay kid. How good is he?? Height weight?? What kid of player is this kid

He is not the first but what does it matter Sam would be a great get for BU. Lets hope he follows his dad to BU. Fay has indeed been offered and my sources tell me he is leaning towards BU. Again lets hope so would be another good get for BU.
 
I have also heard that BU offered him a scholarship.

I know BU has had interest in Fay. Have not heard about an offer.
 
Also this is his jr. year so he will come in 2 years! Good job to the coach's........they really wanted him! :D
 
This is great news! Sam is just a junior and has another year to develop in high school. He will be at Bradley in the fall of 2007.

Graet 2007, Maniscalco and DeAron Williams. Looks like we are off and running.
However, I still am not totally sold on Williams!
Great pre game dunks, but when the whistle blows, he stands around a lot!
At least he did at Limestone.
 
This is great news for the BU nation. This kid can play. He will be a great addition to the guard slot. He plays great D and can flat shoot it. Sam if you read these we can't wait till you become " a Brave for life" Welcome aboard now talk some of your big fellow chicagoans to join you and get ready for the ride of your life.
 
Man - this is good news!

Thing I am diggin now is we are getting players to commit earlier to Bradley. They are committing to the program - not a 'shotgun' or a 'maybe' future.

This is gonna snowball for Bradley in a good way!
