Unfortunately for Tanner Williams - he has had a series of knee injuries requiring four surgeries plus facing yet another - his fifth - and has now left the team at Loyola - apparently ending his basketball career.
He mentions that he will apply for a medical exemption to retain his scholarship but not have it count against the team's total of 13.
