2013 Recruit- SF Alec Peters

2013 SF Alec Peters (Washington High School, Illinois) has received his 2nd offer. This one coming from IPFW (Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne), other offer is from Albany. His recruitment is beginning to take off. And is set to have a big year for Washington
 
I know the Bradley coaches are aware of Alec, as they seem to be with all the local talent.
 
FYI.... I have heard that William and Mary is out of the picture. The visit to Notre Dame is a go. If I remember correctly, he wants to be an engineering major.

Visiting South Bend, Indiana.

I was a little shocked as well, but I heard this about a month ago. i wanted more clarification, so I didn't post anything until it was verified through the linked article.

I fully admit that I don't follow high school basketball so I do not know the talent level of this player.

Well he is a decent player but not high major...shoots it well but not athletic...plays hard..a lot of schools seen him play this summer and not one high major offer came.

With the exception of ISU and Bradley, I have heard each school in the linked article mentioned.
 
Alec picked up his 3rd offer today, from South Dakota State.

Albany, IPFW, and S. Dakota State


Colgate, UIC, Indiana State, ISU, Bradley, Colorado St, N. Dakota St., IPFW, Ball St, UW Milwaukee, William & Mary are schools I know that have been to Washington to watch him workout this month.
 
Slight update even though verbal offers aren't worth much. Heard that Alec Peters attended the ISU scrimmage this past weekend and received a "verbal offer" from ISU.

Heard from a reliable source today that Alec received an offer from ISU this afternoon.
 
Washington HS's Alec Peters carried his team to a win over Champaign Central last night - 65-58 with 26 pts, 14 rebounds!!!!

well if he is as good as people say and he played in front of Iowa, SIU-E, Loyola, Ball St and Colorado State. I am sure a high offer will come, but I just dont see it. Time will tell. Nice kid though.
