The first NBA Summer League games are today (Sat. June 6). The 2024 California Classic Summer League has 11 games on its schedule from today through Wednesday, June 10.

In the first game today, the Sacramento Kings 2nd team beat the Los Angeles Lakers 108-94

Former Bradley Brave Sean East II had 6 points (3-8, 0-1 from three), 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 20 minutes for the Lakers summer league team
2nd round draft pick Bronny James had 4 points (2-9 overall, 0-3 from three), 2 reb, 2 asst

In the Lakers' second game in the California Classic summer league yesterday in San Francisco, Sean East had another good game. he scored 10 points, and had 3 points, 2 assists in 22:45 of playing time in the Lakers 68-92 loss to the Golden State Warriors - https://www.nba.com/game/lal-vs-gsw-1322400006/box-score#box-score
Bronny James did not dress for the game.

Another former MVC player, D.J. Horne, who played a couple years at Illinois State before finishing his college career at North Carolina State and Arizona State, got his first action in the Summer League for the San Antonio Spurs. In 17 minutes of playing time, he had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist in the Spurs' 59-85 loss to the Sacramento Kings.
