The 2025 version of The Basketball Tournament has been under way since earlier this month, and it is now down to the final 6 teams.

There was a crazy Elam Ending last night that the tournament called "THE CRAZIEST ELAM ENDING IN TBT HISTORY". - Link
In a quarterfinal game, a team named "Fail Harder" came from 20 points behind (86-66) in the Elam Ending phase with a 27-6 run to take a brief 93-92 lead. But, they eventually lost the game 95-93 to "We Are D3", despite the miraculous comeback.

It reminded me of this Elam Ending from July 24, 2021, which the TBT called "The GREATEST Elam Ending in TBT history"-
Always a Brave (team of former Bradley stars) can still lay claim to the "Craziest Elam Ending come-from-behind win". The Always a Brave team was down 66-58 to the Illinois Hoopville Warriors when the Elam Ending kicked in, setting the target end score of 74 points. Always a Brave then fell further behind at 72-59, with Hoopville Warriors needing only 2 points to win the game. But Always a Brave rallied with a 16-1 run to pull off the miraculous 75-73 win-

It's a typo. If you look at the link, they were behind 86-66, 20 points. (original post corrected)

One of the greatest moments when Wes Johnson rushed the court in utter amazement and started hugging the players.
THAT game is still the TBT greatest ending IMO.

Sommerville almost single-handedly won that game, and Wes is a legend and as much a part of Bradley Basketball as most any of the players. I love that guy!

One of these days I'll get to meet Wes in person. Got the pleasure of meeting you and Dub earlier this year at a BU home game!

haha! Right on, LB! Wes is probably THE easiest person to meet out of all the BU fandom! Next time you're in town, we'll go to a game and if Wes is there, we'll find him!

The TBT final was today, and Aftershocks beat Eberlein Drave 82-67 for the 2025 championship and the $1 million winner-take-all prize.
Aftershocks has several former Wichita State players who played in the MVC. But their star was Marcus Keene, a former player at Youngstown State and Central Michigan. The final game was played in Koch Arena on the campus of Wichita State.
Eberlein Drive is one of only 2 teams who have played in 12 straight TBT tournament since its inception in 2014. They made the semifinals last year, but today's championship game was the farthest they have gotten in the tournament.
The Aftershocks have played in 7 tournaments. Their farthest run before today was making it to the semifinals in 2021.
