Bradley's top returning scorer Michelle Lund missed the game with a flu-like illness. But frehmen Katie Yohn (11 pts.), Brooke Bisping (10 pts.) , and Olivia Allen (9 pts.) picked up the slack.

Sounds to me like the Lady Braves may have a bright future...

Then again, what do I know? Its only preseason.

They appear to have a lot more shooters than past teams. All 3 freshmen appear to be very good shooters from the perimeter, which IMO, is much mire important to have in the women's game. Most D1 frontline players are all big enough to make it difficult to score consistently from the inside.

The only "good thing" to come out of the downtime from the board was getting outside to start the "Big Mike vs the raking of leaves"........round 1 goes to the leaves!

Two days without BF's was to long:!: It was long enough time to wonder over to the dark side and browse Craigslist (casual encounters)
Oh Lord:eek: JK about all this:!::lol: Raked leaves and worked my butt off around the house doing everything my wife could think of:mad: Thank God BF's is back:lol:

Did allow me to go through some junk to pitch. But I did come across a pocket schedule for the Brave's 59-60 season. On the reverse side was the Caterpillar schedule. BU had a tough schedule and Cat did a lot of traveling. Was called into the service that year so I missed a great time for Peoria basketball. Used to go to Bradley games on Saturday night and be right back at the Fieldhouse on Sunday afternoon for the Cat games.
