of those road teams we could play the following teams are the ones i would most like to see:
UCSB RP1 (8-1 RPI 41)
George Mason (7-3 RPI 29)
Kent St (8-2 RPI 61)
Marist (6-4 RPI 86)
Geo Southern (6-1 RPI 65)

I think G-Mason might be the best for us because of their name recognition

none of the others really stand out for me
maybe Western Michigan(4-5 RPI 118 ) or Nevada (3-4 RPI 111) but with those records it doesnt look good for them

I agree and would be nice to head out east for a game in the DC area for the team and recruiting. UCSB would be great for the fans to go to. It's in a real nice area!

I would like to see us play Kent State and maybe get something going with them home and away for a 4 year period.

Didn't Kent State used to be the Gonzaga of the 90's? Consistently getting into the Tourney and making runs but didn't have quite enough. I wouldn't mind taking them or George Mason.

Kent has been to the tourney 4 times:

'99 lost as an #11 seed
'01 won as #13 over Indy but lost to #5 Cincy
'02 (BIG year with Wally-World Zerbiak) won as #10 over Ok St, then over #2 Alabama, and #3 Pitt in OT before losing to eventual Runner-Up IU
'06 lost as #12 to Pitt by 14

Anyone worried we are at the bottom of that list. I know it's early, and we'll probably move up... But it's still not fun to see.

no im not worried as long as we do our business our RPI will rise while others will probably go down considering the competitions RPI's in our conference and our conference being rated as the #5 or #6 as of now in the RPI. I think when matchups are being made we should be in the top 5 home teams in the RPI

on second thought probably at least in the top 7.... it might be tough to get ahead of SIU, Butler, Mo St and St Marys, but the others should be able to pass up....

however if we take care of business at Butler and against Mo St and SIU this year it shouldnt be a problem to be in the top 5 or top 3

Szcerbiak went to Miami (OH).

Thanks pfunk880... I kinda knew that but I obviously flubbed up last night.

What was Kent's tuff players that year... seems to me they had a really good white guard (4 yr player) and a tuff forward or center that wasn't huge but very good.

Kent St. had Trevor Huffman, Andrew Mitchell, Demetric Shaw, Eric Thomas and Antonio Gates. Yes, the same Antonio Gates that is the tight end for the Chargers. He averaged about 21pts, 8 reb per game during his 2 years at Kent St.

I'd like to see us play Miami OH...only because my sister went there and she is still living in the days of Wally. A nice blowout from Bradley would probably shut her up!
