Three ladies signed in the fall

we only had 11 rostered players last year and then one senior graduated and one other left...
so that gave Coach Brooks three scholarships to fill last fall...plus the fourth that opened up this spring.
Thus he still has one that's open for 2015.

I guess I didn't realize they even had a women's basketball team.....
Just kidding. In all seriousness, I've always had a question about the women's team. If you are going to be as bad as they have been, why not just recruit the best of the local girls? At least you would get people at the games that way. Or 1at least per year would even drive attendance up a little.

Briana Gray is a junior from Saint Louis U. who was injured much of last year. She will sit out a year and have 2 years of eligibility starting in 2016-17.

..and the other is a 5th year transfer from Ohio University, Kat Yelle. In 2014-15, she averaged 2.7 assists per game, she shot 47.4% from the field and averaged 6.4 PPG as a junior. She will be eligible this fall for 1 more season.
