Bradley's Strength of Schedule ranked 9th

According to Dave Reynolds, Bradley's SOS is now rated 9th in Division I.
Nobody else in the MVC is in the top 100.
Creighton is 2nd in the MVC at 102.

RealtimeRPI.com has slightly different numbers, but BU is still the only MVC team under 100.-

Man that just makes those loses to WCU, Loyola, and SUIC that much tougher to chew. We really had a schedule set up to get us an at large and had 3 games we really should have won. Oh well here's to making a big run in the valley and using that SOS to our advantage.

I still don't know if that would have been enough for an at-large bid as the selection committee looks at quality wins over BCS and NCAA caliber teams. It's doubtful Loyola and SIU are NCAA caliber teams, and while WCU is a great team, a win against them probably would take them out of the at-large talk. Plus while still solid, our SOS would certainly not be that strong if we beat these teams.

So now we just need to start stacking up some wins and hope we finish strong.

ESPN InsideRPI has 9, they're at least more reliable than realtimerpi. I dunno what Palm has; he's more reliable than ESPN, but I've only paid for one of them ;)

I don't think those wins would have helped, but the loses especially to Loyola really killed our at large chances, and negated our win over U of I

being at 7-9 seems odd to read about at-large chances, sos, and rpi. could we please just win more games than we lose.

Bravesfan I don't think us winning those games would have affected our rpi that much. Road losses only count (I think) as .6 losses for calculating SOS. So we're talking about a 1.8 loss swing in SOS so over 250 or so games we're talking about dropping from 9 to 12 or something.

Amen to that....RPI's and SOS's are fun to talk about but until BU starts winning some games they don't mean squat. Let's get things headed in the right direction Sat. and beat Da Bears.
