Braves Practices...

When are open gyms for the Braves? Is it considered completely inappropriate just to come by and watch? And are there any on weekends?

As far as I know, Bradley summer workouts, and in-season practices have never been truly "open" since Jim Les took over. They have welcomed people coming in to see the summer workouts and watch practices if approved in advance by someone on the staff. So you might try calling the basketball office and asking about whether you could come by and watch.

There was a scheduled event for the Braves Scholarship Society members today to come to Robertson and watch the players scrimmage at 4:00. I don't know how that went. If we have any Scholarship Society members, fill us in.

Thanks, DC.

What about the so-called "open gyms" at Robertson? Think T has stopped in and viewed those a couple of times, right?

As Da Coach says, the times the players shoot on the floor are totally unpredictable and nobody knows in advance.
I might have possibly been able to get to the Monday open gym, had it not been for one tiny factor, I was several time zones away.
I'll find someone who can give us a some reports, tho......

How does Sam M do guarding Ruff and vice versa?

How is Andrew Warren looking?

Which one of the new guys looks to make the most impact this year?

Thats all for now but I have about 100 more

Thank you

Sam looked great he played very hard on both ends of the floor and he will most likely be the best freshmen. Warren looked pretty good but I think it will be a battle between Cole-Scott and him for the 2 spot.Anthony T has put on 12 pounds since he has been here and he looked pretty darn good but still has a long way to go.

It's not what I want to know as in facts, but rather just to see the team and be able to form my opinions and see what Les and co. do in practice as far as improving the new guys etc.

I saw Sam S. yesterday afternoon getting back to the apartment complex after open gym. He looks like he has shed quite a bit of weight and is starting to get some definition back in his arms. I hope he has a surprising season and can finally come back strong.
