Bruce Saurs passes

lefty

New member
Bruce passed away early this moring??¦He was an all time great??¦.There is a lot I could say but I'll leave it at that for now

Sad to hear this. He was the main force behind keeping hockey in Peoria, but probably few Bradley fans know that he was a big supporter of Bradley and a fan of Bradley basketball. He was a member of the Bradley Founders Society, which is a designation given to only a small number of dedicated donors who give extremely large financial donations and continue them over long periods of time.

he did a lot for Peoria .. sympathies for his family - who just about everyone in Peoria knew in one way or another...

the lower bowl is really gonna be empty this season as we have recently lost a lot of long time fans

Sad to hear......Bruce might have been small in stature, but a huge man to the Peoria and surrounding communities......did a lot for sports and a lot for charities.....will surely be missed!

I did not know him personally, but what a legacy he has left. I know you were very close....sorry for the loss....

Bruce Saurs' visitation (yesterday & this morning) and funeral (today) were remarkably attended - proof of his impact in this city .. literally thousands of people who knew Bruce through sports, business, family...
