Bradley is recruiting Tramique Sutherland, a juco point guard from Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas. He is visiting Bradley October 6-7.

Hill College was 20-10 last season with 5-11 Sutherland getting 10.7 ppg on 48 FG%, 32.7% on 3-pt, 6.6 rpg, 6.7 apg. He attempted fewer than 1.5 three point shots per game last year, but was a much more prolific three point shooter in high school. He was named First Team All Conference as a freshman in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.

He is originally from Ontario, Canada and attended Father Henry Carr High School in Etobicoke, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto (former Brave Jason Faulknor was from Etobicoke).

His 6.7 apg was 11th best in all of juco basketball last year.
His assist to turnover ratio (2.3) was also among the leaders.

Not a "big time" recruit, but I think this kid would be a good pick-up. HIs assist/turnover ratio indicates he's smart with the ball. If he can defend a little he'll fit right in.

He sounds similar to how we heard Anthony Fields described.
If a point guard is a top priority for this staff, I think Tramique Sutherland is one of the few 2014 quality PGs available and ready to contribute next year.

Geno will visit Tramique Sutherland Thursday in Hillsboro, Texas, home of Hill College.
He'll try to lock down a commitment there.

Sutherland sounds like a very good prospect considering the dearth of offers he has at this point - so our singular advantage with him is that we are pursuing him before anyone else catches on - so...
I wonder if it might be better if his name and recruitment was kept quiet and not in the newspaper headlines?

btw - a little more biographical info on Tramique Sutherland..
First - Tramique is the son of Cebert & Karlene Sutherland of Toronto, Ontario Canada...
He has three brothers named Tramaine, Tramell, and Tramar...and two sisters, Travianna and Traianne!
and his currently 24 year old brother, Tramar, was also a high school standout in basketball at the same high school as Tramique (Father Henry Carr HS), and went to South Plains (junior college - averaged 5ppg as a freshman and 10.2ppg as a sophomore),
and played Division I basketball at University of Arkansas-Little Rock in 2010-11 and 2011-12...where as a senior he was a part-time starter...despite being hampered with stress fractures.
Tramar is still playing in pro-am leagues in Toronto - http://northpolehoops.com/2013/07/2...-leads-black-to-proam-ship-tut-ruach-adds-27/

I have heard from a reliable source close to Tramique Sutherland that-
"Tramique enjoyed his visit to Bradley. He really likes the coaching staff, players and every thing about the campus and the basketball facilities. Bradley is very high on his very short list of schools that he will consider for next season. He will commit by the end of October or first few days of November."

It seems to lack mentioning the other schools that have interest in him. I'm not saying he is not worth recruiting but just trying to point out that for a new page the info is outdated.

well - there are only a couple of other schools that we have heard or read have expressed interest - and they do mention Iona...so this is about as current as any other place except BradleyFans!

Javonte Douglas has now decommitted from Southern Miss and reopened his recruitment!!! -
this is a really good player - ..

if you haven't seen this kid Javonte Douglas - then this is one short YouTube video that you MUST watch -
one of the best dunks I have ever seen that was not made by Zach Andrews nor Chris Roberts!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NREJAtsyBM#t=29

If you stop the video at 0:16 you will see that Douglas' chin is above the rim and that he his crotch is clearing the HEAD of the opponents' #23
who is not only their post player but he's actually jumping and his feet are a foot off the floor at the time Douglas clears his head!
