Assistant Coach Jaden Uken has been busy with a recent recruiting trip to Texas where he scouted several junior college players.
One of the players Bradley has interest in is junior college sophomore Kalif Wright, a 6'6" 225 pound small forward at Kilgore Junior College in Kilgore, Texas.
He averaged 7.3 ppg and 4.8 rpg as a freshman there last year.

He is originally from Oak Hill, West Virginia, where he lead his high school team to back to back state championships his junior and senior years and was named All State. He averaged 25 ppoints and 12 rebounds his senior year, and averaged 28 ppg in the state tournament. He commited to Hampton Unversity, then ended up at Kilgore College.-

does it seem odd that every player Bradley is connected with - we also see Kent State & Drake connected with

I don't think so. I get the impression that Geno has a specific type of player that he prefers, especially at the 3/4. Since kent state hired Geno's top assistant, it's not shocking that his recruiting would be similar to Geno's. Looks like ray is going the same route . I hope drake gets stronger each year, just like we have under Geno. A strong valley from top to bottom is good for us all.

Juco forward Kalif Wright of Kilgore College in Texas has just received a scholarship offer from Jim Molinari and Western Illinois, to go along with reported offers from Bradley, Cleveland State, Miami (OH), Tennessee State, East Tennessee State, and Texas State.

He is currently averaging 11.8 ppg and 5.9 rpg for Kilgore which is 21-3 this season.

Kalif Wright...

Kalif Wright...

Just what we need...Another "ho-hum" 6'6" forward from a JC. When will our coaches learn that these kind of players are not going to rebuild BU into a winner.

Kalif Wright, one of the few big men on Bradley's recruit list, committed to Miami of Ohio tonight.
