Dave Reynolds is reporting that Bradley has offered a scholarship to junior collegeplayer Rodell Wigginton of Central Florida Community College.
Bradley has already been recruiting and offered his teammate guard Rasham Suarez-

Rodell Wigginton is 6'6", 215 pounds, and is referred to as both a big shooting guard and a small forward. He played in 35 games last season for CFCC, and averaged 14.0 ppg, shot 53% overall, but just 25% on threes, 57% on FTs, and 2.2 apg.

Wigginton is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, and he attended high school at a small Boston private school, Trinity School. He spent the 2011-2012 season at Lee Academy, a prep school in Maine- the same prep school Stefan Zecevic played at last year.

Rodell has reportedly visited and narrowed to three schools - Bradley, Buffalo, & Ohio - but as a 6-6 wing I am sure he sees that logjam of other similar players BU might have ahead of him..

Not if he's a two. Would love his size and ability at the 2.

I agree if he can play the 2. From what I have seen, Geno likes the 2 to be proficient at ball handling and passing, and he needs to have a good perimeter touch. But from the videos and from recruiting reports, Wigginton played forward at Lee Academy 2 years ago, and at College of Central Florida last year. He shot just 25% from the shorter juco three point line, and was mostly effective driving to the basket. Maybe he can develop more guard skills, but I don't see him being effective for us at the 2. IMO, we need a knock-down shooter.

right now we have two guys who have played PG that will be here in 2014 - Ka'darryl Bell & Anthony Fields...
if one were to get injured or be ineffective or troubled with fouls, we'd be in a fix at the point guard depth...
This is the top priority right now but everyone else is looking for one, too...

Bell commited 9/3/11 & Fields in mid-April 2012... we have gotten 9 commitments (11 if you count the Sahrs ;)) since Ka'Darryl verballed and we're still shallow on PG depth...I understand there's a shortage of good PG's out there but we saw how Porter Moser, when he lost Justin Dentmon, proceeded to have two consecutive losing seasons in 2005-06 & 2006-07, and bottom dweller offenses for the Redbirds despite having decent players (Eldridge, Slack, Richardson..) in fact one of those years he didn't have a single player hit double digits scoring average.
This is what happens when you don't have depth at PG and it cost Moser his job in only his 4th year at ISU.

the people on the Ohio board have concerns that Rodell Wigginton might ask out... especially with him having such a good soph season at juco

Former BU recruit Rodell Wigginton was released from his NLI to Ohio, and has now committed to Buffalo.
