BU recruit 2015- Garrison Goode

Garrison Goode is a 6'8", 210 pound forward who is an uncommitted 2015 recruit. He is a senior at Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin (just north of Milwaukee), and he has played AAU ball for Playground Elite.
D1 offers currently listed are for Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Sam Houston State, and New Orleans.

Video- He reminds me a little of some video I saw of ISU's Reggie Lynch when he was in high school. He is very athletic with some good basketball skills, but a bit raw with limited offensive skills.

DC, I never saw Lynch when he was in high school, but Goode seems to have a much different body build. Their center's body build would seem to be more like Lynch.
 
Here is some video of Reggie Lynch playing AAU ball when he was still in high school. He looks a bit slow and his skills were very raw then, which is why he didn't have a lot of D1 interest. I still think Reggie back then looks similar to the current video of Garrison Goode above-

By the way, the big center on the Dominican basketball team is Diamond Stone, a 5-star recruit who is rated by every website as a Top 10 recruit nationally. He recently committed to Maryland.-

I am glad that we are recruiting Garrison Goode. He looks imposing in the paint. He appears to play with determination and isn't afraid to mix it up. That is important in the Valley. I hope he is a good student and person. Nothing wrong with having an attitude to dominate on the floor as long as you play by the rules.

We need players like Goode. He looks like Mitchell Anderson around the basket!!! :)
 
I believe Goode was being followed by Coach Wardle and his assistant Jimmie Foster when they were at UWGB. So if Wardle wants him, he should have a pretty good shot at landing him.

I sure hope you are right about that. You have been right about almost everything I have read recently.
 
We have only learned a few names, but I have heard Coach Wardle has been in contact with many more in the past week. I am sure we'll hear more names soon.
 
Big men with the athleticism and frame that Goode seem to possess are a precious commodity this time of year. If he puts on weight and strength he looks like a very promising player. Too bad we didn't get him, well done Coach Les.
