BU recruit- class of 2011- Daniel Green

New Wake coach Jeff Bzdelik talks about Daniel Green...he's really counting on this kid this coming season..
" ...Daniel Green is 6-9, with a 7-2 wingspan. Extremely young, great upside, finished his high school career with four games averaging about 18 points, 15 rebounds and six or seven blocks. He has a black belt and he's the son of a former Marine. Obviously he will bring some toughness, which is a good thing."

Interesting how often Coach Les lost out only to top BCS-caliber schools...and a lot of this was the prowess Alvin Brooks III had in Texas, but that's all gone now...
 
This guy Daniel Green is leaving Wake Forest and able to transfer as a grad-transfer with immediate eligibility - looking for more playing time..

He is a powerful 6-10 kid who has missed a lot of time due to injury but is now gettingback to full strength and could have some potential...
obviously the fact that he hasn't played much in the past 2 seasons is of some concerns - but when he did play, he showed promise....

this guy still available - was friends with Anthony Fields at Wake...and can play immediately, 6-10 - the only question is the health of his knee after sitting out out with injury
