BU recruit- Class of 2014- C. J. Rivers

Bradley is still interested in 2014 combo guard C.J. Rivers, formerly of Cahokia. He has several mid-major offers, and his AAU coach recently tweeted that he will be visiting Drake and Cornell.

Cahokia High School was reported to be planning to cut their sports programs due to budget problems. However, I can't find any report that the cuts definitely went through. And there were reports that C.J. Rivers, Darius Austin, and other Cahokia athletes might play this year at other high schools, but there is no confirmation of that.

If I'm not mistaken the Cahokia school board found enough other cuts to save their athletics and other programs for the upcoming season. The following years are still in jeopardy.

I am glad to hear that. Cahokia will be one of the better teams in the state and has a chance at a state championship this coming year.
