BU recruit- juco class of 2012- Vince Garrett

Another junior college player Bradley is recruiting is Vincent Garrett. He is a 6'5" wing player who is now a sophomore at Lee College in Baytown, Texas (near Houston). He is originally from Chicago Marshall High School, and was a star there, but he did not qualify, and went to juco route. He is an extremely athletic kid, who will get some looks from high-major schools. He averaged around 13+ ppg as a freshman at Lee College. A couple of our coaches are currently at a juco event in Texas checking out players, and lookig at Garrett.

Looks like a great get. Bring some dunking excitement back to Peoria! Just a little short for a forward unless he has a jump shot...
 
Former BU juco recruit Vincent Garrett ended up at Rutgers, and he impressed Rutgers fans with a spectacular dunking exhibition at their Midnight Madness.
But he played very little during his junior season and decided to leave Rutgers and transfer, even before all the turmoil started with the Mike Rice abuse scandal, and coaching change.

Now he has decided to transfer to Wisconsin Green Bay. UW-GB had a scholarship available after they failed to land their top spring recruiting target Deshawn Delaney. They hope to get the NCAA to grant a waiver to allow Garrett to play immediately.-

Former Bradley recruit Vincent Garrett, originally from Chicago Marshall HS and Lee College in Texas, has been granted an NCAA waiver and will be eligible immediately for his senior season at Wisconsin-Green Bay.
