Just got home from the FH ... the players/Jim were, as usual, gracious and more than willing to dispense hugs, high-5s, etc.

It's too bad they couldn't have planned it for a time more conducive to fans showing up ... but a decent showing for 1 pm on a weekday/ the first unofficial day of Spring Break.

GOOD LUCK IN MISSISSIPPI, GUYS!

I also just returned. There were fewer than 100 in attendance, but considering the time and no program was planned it was all good. WEEK was the only TV station filming. Dub was the cameraman. And all this time all I thought he did was mooch a free meal with Eric Shangraw on You Gotta Eat. Didn???‚¬?„?t know he could even speak.

We fans stood in a circle in the Field House concourse. As IheartBU stated the players just went around in the circle and shook hands and high-5ed. When Ruff got to me I asked him if he would be back. He said YES, but what else is he going to say?

I wanted to go, but I didn't have time to make it to campus in at lunch hour. Kinda stinks. Good to hear you guys had fun though.

Ruffin will be the top returning scorer (just ahead of Crouch), not to mention the top steals and assists guy, too.
Why wouldn't he want to return? He could be the preseason POY, and certainly has a chance to be the POY.

One of the perks of being old and retired. The other two are still being alive and, dang, I forget!

Well, that settles it.

You're a sneaky one, Mike.

Either way, I hope it's a good two weeks (of playing time!) before we find out.

One of the perks of being old and retired

Another perk is that most of us live in the Peoria area, which, according to the posters on the Providence message board, is the mecca for retired people!

I love living near Peoria, I think it is one of the greatest midwest cities, has tons to offer without the massiveness of having a million people in it.
