Ja'Shon Henry's 15 point tonight pushed him past the 1,000 point mark for his career. He now has 1,005 career points.
Ja'Shon becomes the 51st player in the long and successful Bradley history to reach the 1,000+ point mark-

Congratulations JaShon, you're prime example that hard work along with teamwork brings great results.
Go get the bulldogs Sunday.

Congrats Jashon. I love this kid's heart and toughness. I would take him for 4 (5) more years. The way he plays, every one of those points was hard earned.

One of my favorite 3 Braves this millenium for sure. His character, work ethic, style of play - just a special young man!

JHen, classy guy who just gets it done. Our good fortune as fans having him all these years. Def one of the all- time greats.

Ja'Shon we still have a lot of work to do but thanks for the memories. You are what it means to be a Bradley Brave. You certainly have become one of my all time favorites. You are an example of what hard work can do to make a person and team excel at whatever they put their mind too. Good luck in your future and ONCE A BRAVE ALWAYS A BRAVE.

I don't have time to read all these DC, but I was one who was skeptical of J-hen his freshman season, as I didn't see much from him in his limited time, and we were underachieving as a team at the start of the MVC season.

Near the end of the season though, I began to see some of his skills and toughness for a freshman, and heard from a few other BU fans of how great of a kid he was. Then I was on board and have been lovin' every minute he's on the court (aside from the concussion incidents, of course)

JaShon's contributions in the MVC title game the following season were HUGE (16 pts, 7 reb. in just 25 min.) and we may not have won without him coming up big (along with Ville's 2 big treys in the 2nd half).

When Ja'Shon was recruited, the few internet articles about him referred to him as a wing player, a guard, or even a point guard.
Note the first sentence of this March, 2019 article from his hometown-
A Saskatoon-born point guard has a chance to shine on U.S. college basketball’s biggest stage.
Ja’Shon Henry is headed to the NCAA’s March Madness tournament with the Bradley University Braves.

But once he got to Bradley, it was clear he was not a D1 level point guard. But his athleticism was obvious. As a freshman, Ja'Shon won the team's dunk contest. Then he bulked up by his sophomore and junior seasons, and became a very effective inside player. He averaged a consistent 9.5 -10 ppg each of the last 4 seasons, and shot a high percentage from the floor.
Here are Ja'Shon's career stats. We can only wonder how much better these numbers might have been if not for the injury issues his 3rd and 4th seasons.
