An article from the Chicago media about the problems for the D1 Illinois schools this year. It's possible no school from Illinois will be in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1999.--

One of the D1 schools they don't mention, Eastern Illinois finally won a game against another D1 opponent. EIU beat Murray State 83-80 in overtime.

Illinois State's having a pretty good year, and with the rest of the Valley's pre-season contenders underacheiving, the Redbirds could sneak one in under the radar.
 
Depaul has to have at least one major upset a year, they do play in the Big East! You're liable to win at least one of those conference games!
