he is good - and I would love to have him..........and info on him is fairly scarce - but as always it is here and was available here long before anywhere else...
 
Dominique Matthews is playing well, and in his first 2 games now he has scored 39 & 34..
and yet a recent article that points out he didn't play AAU ball and dropped off the recruiting charts - is still only hearing from a few schools...

"Matthews has scholarship offers from Chicago State, Toledo, SMU and Wisconsin-Milwaukee."

PLUS -- he just got an offer from SIU Thursday night - LINK

but he clearly seems to be unhappy with that list of choices and says this...
“Hopefully, I will get some more interest from other schools"

Hmmm.... I hope we're still in touch - note above he was interested in visiting Bradley last year - so let's not drop off now..

Chicago St. Rita star Charles Mathews, a top 20 player nationally in the class of 2015, and brother of Dominique Matthews, a former 2014 Bradley recruit, announced this morning that he was committing to Kentucky

also one other potential recruiting note...
Highland HS (Highland, IL) just posted the teams they will have at their big tourney in January 2016 and it includes some pretty good teams & good players...
including Manual (AJ Youngman, DaMonte Williams), Lanphier (Xavier Bishop), and State Runnerups Althoff..

Dominique Matthews, formerly of Chicago St. Rita and once a Bradley recruit, has committed to UIC Head Coach Steve McClain. He's a pretty good player and a great one to land for UIC.

lot of people knew this was aiming too high...and indeed Matthews was way down on playing time - now
decides he's leaving Kentucky & transferring.

he's really talented and word is he's aiming Big Ten or Big East - but I hope he considers a top Mid-major conference - where he would be more likely to be a star, a Ron Baker, Kyle Korver, or Alex Peters!!
