Collegehoopsnet is starting with their preseason predictions....
they say the Valley will get two bids, Creighton getting the automatic bid, and Drake getting the 2nd bid.

Drake will have a tough time next season without 3 of their top players plus the loss of their coach, I doubt he would have left if he had any hopes of returning to the ncaa tour.

There may be only 2 from the MV but as I have been saying and remember you heard it here, BU will win the MV this year.

Yes, I saw this to and almost posted it but found it to be such rubbish that I "let it lie".

Drake?! Are you kidding me?! Creighton, yes. But not Drake with a new coach, new system, and many new faces.

I see The Valley as at least a 3-team league with CU, BU, ISU, and possibly SIU (I know they're young but Lowery will find a way, if anyone can). Am I leaving anyone out?
 
I see Creighton and Bradley at the top as well.

Southern Illinois may have the most talent but they are so, so, so young outside of two or three players. Give it two years and they'll be on top of the Valley if everyone stays in tact. Mullins' leadership will help keep them near the top though.

Illinois State has great talented and a lot of pieces. Osiris and Oguchi complement each other well and they are very strong inside but they have no true point guard. Kenyon Smith is truly their only option and he is just a freshman and was a combo guard in high school. This will keep them outside of the top 3 in my opinion.

I don't see Drake being anywhere as good as they were last year mainly because there is no Keno Davis.
 
Creighton has so much returning, SIU has a lot of talent, hard to say this, but I like what ISU is doing as well and the talent they are bringing in, and then BU will be better next year as well! Should be a very interesting season next year!
