Early pub for BU - Lunardi's Bracketology

Not that it matters much, but it's always nice to see BU as predicted into the tourney. I can't wait for next season, such a long way to go 'til then ...

that's pretty exciting to see that we aren't alone in our belief that BU is gonna be legit. i think there will be more than 2 from the valley but, as always, we get no respect.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. While we may have not received that bid we coveted so much, our 22 wins and victories over national powers in a perceived 'down' year spoke volumes about where the program is heading. We have some nationally-recognized recruits coming in, and 2 of the top players in the league returning. The nation has already started recognizing that BU is a force to be reckoned with, and I predict this is just the first national outlet to predict good things for the Braves next year. All we have to do is live up to the hype.

And JL can show this to Coley and say...11 without you a 6 with you.

Don't make the same mistake the Sikes kid did.

The sad thing is, I think it could make that much of a difference.

I would use the Marcus Sikes example for every kid that's deciding between us and a BCS team. A star for a perennial postseason team, or a good player for a last place Big East team that doesn't even make its conference tournament? Shouldn't be a tough decision...but for one kid it was.

Charlie Coley may be a future star at Bradley; he could be just another player on an ave. team like Sikes at Cincy as I believe B.U. is going to be a very good basketball team for the next 4 seasons and if he signs will go the the big dance the 2 seasons he would be here.

Who all are we brining in next year? Sorry, I know this has been brought up, but it keeps changing....

I'm so excited for next year. We're gonna have a good team, and I'll get to watch one of my friends play for a Valley team next year.

Here are the new faces for next year.......the [players in BOLD are the 13 scholsrship players expected to be on the roster, although things could still change with players leaving, etc.

---first, one new face will be Jeremy Fears, but he transferred to BU a year ago, and has already sat out his required year and will be eligible next fall....and a relatively new face will be Ray Brown who is done with his year's suspension and will play next fall.

---then the three junior college players set to come to BU this fall are DeAaron Williams, Tyrone Cole-Scott, and David Collins.

---The three incoming freshmen will be Sam Maniscalco, Anthony Thompson, and Will Egolf.

---The returning players from last year's roster will include Daniel Ruffin, Jeremy Crouch, Anthony Warren, Matt Salley, Sam Singh.

---Saihou Jassey will not be returning and Danny Adams, Will Franklin, JJ Tauai, and Zach Andrews all graduate and won't return.

---Two walk-ons from this past year, Brian Lavin and Ryan Phillips may also return.

Here is a grid demonstrating BU's scholarships for the next several seasons.

(although Buycks' committment is by no means secure)
