ESPN bias?

Another conversation starter.

Who does ESPN favor?

My list:
Celtics
Yankees
Patriots
Brett Favre
Duke
UNC
Notre Dame
Michigan
Lakers
Cubs

any others or arguments?

It's clear they favor any Boston or New England team (Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox), and there is also a strong Yankee bias.
Watch how often they lead off their Sportscenter shows with highlights of Yankees or Red Sox games.

And watch how many Yankees and Red Sox games they televise.

the red sox and yanks are on all the time. I agree with all of the above too.

They seem to follow the superstar players of the NBA as well. Lebron, Howard, Wade,

Brett Favre #1 BY FAR

every monday night game they can get of him, they have his wife on at half and make it as dramatic as possible, talk about him the whole game and make it seem like his wife is/was the only person in the world with cancer. the denver packer game a couple years back was more of a brett favre documentary than a football broadcast. f espn

ESPN's only bias is money. They show Red Sox - Yankee games over and over because they make more money than any other match up. This is true of a lot of east coast teams and that is why people think they are biased. All they really care about is money. There was certainly no lack of coverage for MJ and the Bulls in the 1990's.
